Handbell Ringers
Chester - United Kingdom The group is based at Blacon High School in Chester and, as Blacon High School Handbell Ringers, was formed in response to an appeal from the head teacher to raise funds for local charities. Initially the group used borrowed bells and only operated at Christmas. After a few years the team became affiliated to the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain as members of the North West Region, obtained their own set of American made Malmark bells and soon began to perform concerts throughout the year. The team is also a member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers - AGEHR.
