After the concert at Matawan
Mark always wanted to ring big bells!
In July / August last year the team spent three weeks in the United States of America The first week was spent in Matawan, NJ and performances were given at the United Nations Headquarters and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. Visits were made to the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Centre and Central Park. We also drove down to Bellcrest park the home of Malmark the company who supplied our bells. After a conducted tour of the factory we were treated to lunch in a nearby restaurant and we then rang for the Malmark staff. We also gave a concert at the First Presbyterian Church, whose families were hosting us.
